On 15 October 2011, the Galleria Fumagalli Bergamo opened the fourth in his personal Clare Dynys spaces. For the occasion, the artist exposes the Italian premiere "Clean Your Eyes", a project that has developed in the last years of his research, and that will be on display during 2012 in prestigious European stages. The project is realized through a phase of photographic research took place mainly in Italy, Argentina and Syria and a plastic phase, for which it was made the "frames" monochrome projecting already belonging to the language of form and concept art of Clare Dynys . The series of images that reveal themselves for what they are -monocromi/paesaggi - only one eye and the patient "clean", is inscribed in frames "Baroque", very prominent and "bulky", made of plaster of the same base color image framed, white, blue, red and gold. The theme of fire, air, ice and deserts, which shows in the works through the symbolism of color, is intended not so educated but elementary is the matrix of the deluge of images to which we are subjected every day and are basis for the establishment of the visible world. Different interpretations of the four elements develop different languages, different cultures differ from the root, tell our story but also the pre-history. "Clean Your Eyes" is a project born from the feeling, desire and urgency to "clean up" the look, and "reset" the mind: the nature of basic, primary, immediate, depicted in the photographs no longer exists (the photos you already have a powerful filter), but the frame in this case serves the dual purpose of further away from our eyes, to isolate it, and then, finally, to return to at least consider it, see it. If the state of nature is a myth, culture - that is, the photos, the frame, symbol, metaphor, the context - is the only tool to be able to maintain at least a memory and nostalgia. Just to complete this thought, will also show "Passages," a video produced in 2010, which incorporates long sequence shots in the endless mazes of the State Central Archives in Rome: information, memory, nostalgia, culture, but also leveling and forgetfulness are the contradictions that human beings living at the time of seeking an interpretation of the world just above the level of mere biological survival.
